Its is rather a um 'good' example of newscoverage in oz, wait till you see the telly.

As for the newspaper, top headlines usually, beauty queen, mayors sex life and stalking trial, tourist drowns/dissapears/chokes on a chip, house prices, or we won.
Check the link daily its good for a laugh. Only time we buy it is Saturday it has the areas property guide. This is the major newspaper by the way for the fastest growning region in Australia!!!!

Well well right up there on top of the local news was this great story. Please read in a snidey, sneering, straight down the nose snort (as usually applies here to stories about the UK)


The Sunshine Coast is expecting a huge influx of English Immigrants after the filming of documentary on English Family (roll footage glossy yellow furniture, tiles, toilet, clothes, Blue fish ornament, kids (age 20) happily playing soccer in postage stamp yard. Woman whipping up BBQ food although she did look slightly sweaty if the frazzled hair was anything to go by.

More blah blah, Englsih Immigrants impressed by our sports results beating England !!!! Sunny weather, (frazzled cuts in with oh its luvley to see some sun) outdoorsey lifestyle (20 somethings catch ball) lifestyle (beach shot as if the beach is in their backyard) will be coming here in droves after this. (More sneering)

Producer zooms in, oh yes everyone want to live the Ozzie lifesyle (puking now) shows like this will have them queing up.
