GBP/AUD - Exchange rate on its highs
Hi everybody,
Just alerting people to the current strength of the British Pound against the Aussie Dollar. I have included a chart so people can see its historical trading pattern. A lot of people are asking us whether it will go higher from here. The answer is we dont know.
We do have signficant numbers of clients targeting this area to sell pounds and the GBPAUD has been unable to break through 2.5250 despite 3 solid attempts in the last 6 months. That said if it does break through the 2.5250 resistance it could go for a gallop towards 2.57-2.60.

Booked a trade last night. Certainly beat the 2.39 I had to settle for last time.

Ex rate sucks. Bring back the 2.75-2.85 days.

Yup , it appears to be holding steady after the usual bulk of 2.50 orders which normally cause it to drop back down to 2.45 range.
Its kept above 2.505 for a whole day, which is a sign that the market has accepted the break through... On to next barrier with fingers crossed.
Just the labour leadership, euro collapse, uk interest rates... to worry about before our timescale for conversion.
