GB v AUS Score...

....in the one off Rugby League game in Sydney

Australia 62 - Great Britain 10.

GB held them for 17 minutes and then the flood gates opened....

Sigh

Re: GB v AUS Score...

Sorry Gareth,

I can't wait to get back to southern hemisphere and watch some decent rugby. Go Roo's (or is it Kanga's)

But seriously, it was a bit of a drubbing. Isn't there a re-match in UK later?

Get them out on a bike and fall off at 140 MPH (sorry....230kph)!! & see 'em get back up!!
Are the Aussies any good at riding motorcycles? Oh yeah, Corser, Gobert (pot head), McCoy, Bayliss, Doohan, etc. I best shut up!!

The Kiwis aren't too hot though! Slight............umm....Crafar......umm....Slight .......ahem!

Re: GB v AUS Score...

GB are taking on New Zealand at RL in a three match series later this year.

GB's drubbing in Sydney has done the prospects of further GB v Aus games no good at all, as the Aussies are asking (with some justification) "what's the point" ? So I don't know when we will be playing them again.....

Over the past few years the standard of GB RL has improved considerably but the Australians refuse to stand still whilst we catch up. I consider this VERY unsporting......... ; )
