Gas fitting jobs
I am currently training to be a gas man. take my exam in sept. was then thinking of getting a year or two exprience.
Is there a demand for this job and does anyone know the rates of pay

Depends where you go in Australia, some parts still don't have gas and used bottled still.
Although I guess that is a good thing because when they decide to pipe it in everywhere there will be plenty of work 
Also, when we had our gas cooker fitted we rang a plumbers rather than a gas fitter and he did it.

HUBBY CORGI REG IN UK, DOING PLUMBING OUT HERE, AS THATS WHAT THEY ROCOGNISED HIM AS. gAS FITTERS HERE MOSTLY COMMERCIAL, OR SOME WORK IN THE MINES, GAS ENGINEERING. NOT THE SAME AS DOMESTIC IN UK! RECOMMEND YOU GO THE COMMERCIAL ROUTE.
