I am a bit panicked by this, but I thought I'd ask, before I drink myself into hell. If you are claiming points for skill, how often does DIMIA ask for further docs like Tax docs etc??

th company I used to work for no longer exists, so am scared that they'll request further docs and I won't be able to produce them.

Any help is appreciated.

We were asked for further documents, P60's for the last 4 years, all because the reference was not dated, I assume by the case officer asking for them because of that reason it must be one of those things that can go wonky, make sure your references are dated.

My other half was asked for all sorts but he is self employed and they wanted to check that he was doing what he he claiming the experience for - there was lots he couldn't supply, but he just supplied everything he possibly could, even things they didn't ask for in stead of, just so it looked like he was making an effort and it worked, we got our visas yesterday!.

I wouldn't worry too much, because as long as you state things in a stat dec that you can't get hold of and try and get as much else as you can, they will be OK I'm sure. Is there nobody that used to work there who can do a stat dec for you stating that it is no longer in existance, but confirming what you did?!

Anyway, no point worrying yet.
