Has anyone done this, or any idea on how much it costs to store funiture etc in the UK? D oes the shipping costs include storage in the Uk till shipped.
We are not sure what to do when we first go out to oz, wondered if anyone had any info ?

Hi, I can't answer your query but recommend that you ask shipping companies as some will store FOC and others make a charge.

sell your furniture.for what it will cost to ship it you can buy new in oz. your tastes will change and you will end up buying new anyway. i know one dude whos wife made him pack light fittings from there old house in blighty. they are now binned as they dont fit in with there balinese inspired house and wet edge pool. start a fresh it makes both common and financial sense. just buy a few m3 and bring your personnel stuff but leave white goods, sofas, beds etc behind. it will be an expensive headache. check out freedom furnitures web site. they are of a reasonable quality and will give you an idea of ytour replacement costs.
