Default Furnished Short Term Holiday Rental in Brisbane ?

Hi All,

We're planning our visa validation trip to Brissy during the last two weeks of October.

I know that a lot of people have recommended Koala Homes as a good place to stay but does anyone know of any other similar places that we could take a look at ?

We'd need a fully furnished place, at least 2 bedroom, own washer/dryer and ideally a pool so I could get a bit of peace from the nipper for an hour or two ?

Has anyone stayed anywhere like this and can make a recommendation ?

Ta.....

See if you can send email or PM to MarkWarner. I know that him and his wife Abbi and their 2 kids went out in about June to a fully furnished place on a holiday park type thing. Think they had booked it for 9 weeks to give them time for their own stuff to arrive and to look for a longer term rental. Not sure what part of Brissy though.
HTH
Cheers

There are plenty of serviced apartments in the Brissy area. Have a look on www.wotif.com.au. It will be for the next few weeks but at least it will give you some idea of the places you are looking for.

What area ? You mentioned Koala Homes in Capalaba, are you looking at the Bayside area specifically, or do you want something more central to the City ?

For the Redlands/Bayside area you could look here to begin with: http://www.redlandstourism.com/info.asp?id=108

I also saw a place advertised on Coochiemudlo Island for about $400 pw

Thanks everyone, there's some great links there all of which have been bookmarked

I also checked out www.realestate.com.au and they seem to have some pretty good holiday homes listed
