Fully furnished home in Sydney
Hi,
We are offering our home in Sydney for 6 months rental as a fully furnished house from early december if anyone is interested.
This is a great way for any expats coming to either live in Sydney but want to get a feel for the city before buying, or relatives/friends out to visit family for an extended stay.
We are aussies who lived in the UK duing the mid '90s and appreciated how convenient fully-furnished houses were for us over there. For some reason, fully-furnished houses are very rare in Australia. We are off to live for 6 months in NZ, so our house is avaliable.
We've knocked up a simple web site describing the house at http://alyth.t35.com (If you get the t35.com logo on the graphics, just hit refresh).
I hope this is not regarded as a commercial advertisement, as its a once off for our own home.

Ok, we're getting ourselves a bit more organised on the house....
- The house may also be avaliable as a 1 bed + study/childs room unfurnished. (ie. We store our furniture locked away in the other bedroom).
- Because we are primarily concerned with occupancy rather than returns, the furnished option will be well below "executive rental" rates, and basically the standard unfurnished rate + a nominal fee for the furniture.
Ball park rates would be:
Fully Furnished 2.5 bedroom house - about AUD$520 per week.
1.5 bed unfurnished house - about AUD$380 per week.
Check out domain.com.au and you'll see unfurnished houses of the same type in Annandale at around $480 per week.
Note: These figures are illustrative only.
