Good luck for getting to Perth. where abouts are you heading to? We are the friends Isle is staying with, and would be happy to meet up with you when you arrive.
Nicky and Mark Port Kennedy:thumbsup: Hey there you and 'squeezzii'. Do you two know each other? I'm finding it really isolating living in Port Kennedy. I swear there is only me and an old lady off the next cul de sac up that walks anywhere! Don't you think it's really hard to meet people if you drive to the shops and drive your kids to school?:( I've been thinking about my mates back home and it dawned on me I'd met them all through school (all them years ago!) or work. I've got 4 children, the eldest 2 are at Port Kennedy school and the youngest are nearly 3yrs and 5 months. I don't work and hubby's eratic work hours means a gym membership is a no-no. I take my boys to the park at St Clair a lot to feed the ducks and 5,000 seagulls and still don't see anyone! How on earth do you 'make friends' when you're not wearing pig tails and a pinafore dress in the playground????? |

We are on St Clair by the park but the one by Chelmsford. Feel free to give us a hoy and we can meet up. Shifts are a pain when you want to get out and about;) We have found it difficult as we were not working near home and the thought of driving for about 1 hour each way to meet up for a coffee is a bit mad for me. Mind you it is good to meet up with some of our nice friends futher afield........Hi Tiff Work is mainly the place to meet people here or some of the other sites have helped us make a few more friends in this area. good luck and look forward to hearing from you. |
