Friendly Dentists?

Friendly Dentists?
Just wonderered if there are cheery friendly dentists to be found.
Youngest 2 have a terrible fear.
Rachel (age 9) - sits for check up then wont let Lorna (the extremely friendly dentist) do any treatment. Last year was referred to Glasgow Dental Hospital for gas to have extractions and cos she struggled abit the anaethetist wouldn't carry on with the procedure - Childrens European Rights Act or something. So...referred to Yorkhill for a general anaesthetic (months later due to waiting list). Oh, and if she hadn't cooperated there, they wouldn't have carried out the job either.
Lewis (nearly 5) - you just have to mention we're going to the dentist/doctors and he has a flaky.
We're going to Perth (not sure where yet though).
Anyone recommend any nice, patient Dentists where you live?
Or the ones to avoid!
Oh and do they have some sort of Denplan for adults?
Cheers Shona

Unlike the NHS in Australia there is no free dental care for children so be prepared to pay $30 for a check up - that's before they do anything! I am sure that once you arrive you will be able to find child friendly dentists by (if you excuse the pun) "word of mouth". Good luck and deep pockets.
