It will be 13 weeks , This friday since we sent off our TRA

50 weeks or so, unless you're on the MODL in which case you will be fast tracked.

I've never done a spelling criticism on this site before but why can no one on this forum spell independent?

I dared to criticise someone's punctuation (or rather lack of) once and the knives came out in force. But I've noticed that few people can spell the word 'definite' either. And as for the they're/there/their confusion that reigns - I wonder if they teach the difference in schools anymore.

For Fast Track they have quoted 3 months and for normal they have quoted 6 months.

It does appear to be taking the full 3 months at the moment for fast tracked according to people's timeline's.

You should hear very soon now.

Did you get an aknowledgement yet.

You should have fast tracked !

Apparently it is taking the full 13 -16 weeks at present due to high numbers of applicants. Plus new financial yr started in May/June, and coupled with new regional skills visa looming !!

I'm confused - can I ask a few questions?

What is fast track and does it apply to TRA or just the VISA Application?

I thought the 50 week wait was the Visa Application not the TRA - am I right?

Probably really stupid questions - sorry!!

Oh - any whilst I'm in questioning mode - hubby wants to know what the firefly exclusion zone is (read it on a map I think!)?

Fast track only applies to the TRA.

50 weeks is for the Visa application.

ask your agent to get in touch with them, and see what is going on?, make them earn their money!!

if you are using an agent then they would have put you thro fast track, i think all agents do.

Thanks Madsad - I dont think I'll contact Agent yet though - only sent the signed papers for TRA back to him 2 days ago - he'll think I'm mad.... or sad.....!!!!

I just want to know NOW! I know, I'm impatient.

When are you hoping to be in OZ, where abouts, how many of you are going, what's you occupation? Nosey aren't I?
