Default freezer

we have a 5' high 6 drawer freezer in good condition, is it worth taking it to Brisbane ? will it work ok (obviously the plug will need to be changed) also will it be subject to scrutiny by customs due to the fact it's been used to store food in?

I imagine it's like fridges - you'll need a cert/letter to show it doesn't use CFC's. Ours passed that test but they did write back to say the fridge won't be as efficient. That doesn't matter so much for a fridge we'll store beer in but could be a problem with freezers.
