Free post?

This is probably the dumbest question asked on here in a while. But I am about to finally post our citizenship application (it has only been 6 months since we qualified:rolleyes:) and the yellow envelope says in the top right corner "Postage Paid at Perth WA Aust 6000". Does that mean I don't have to put a stamp on it? (Just thought I had better check with something so important and as we have had so much hassle getting signatures on)

Yep, it sounds like a Govt pre-paid envelope :)

Depends where your posting it from. WIthin Australia, no stamps needed. Overseas (such as the UK), unless it says valid overseas (there is a form of international free post but not often used) you will need stamps.

Yes they are free, and you would be amazed at the number of people that put stamps straight across the top of the free post box.

I asked for that, didn't I!

Anyway, 25 weeks after we became elligible, our citizenship application has finally been posted. I can't help wonder why I have taken so long. I think sub-consciously I am thinking citizenship = passport, passport = can go back to the UK:ohmy:

I know, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but somehow citizenship and passports will mean the end of an adventure. My psyche means I crave progression / change so I will have to look to something else to take its place. (Currently doing watersports - jetskiing, wakeboarding, scuba)
