Don't ask him, he'll just upset you with his answer :D

TRA sounds pretty difficult from what I've heard - what's your trade?

Moved from England to Melbourne about a month ago. We were living in Cheshire near Macclesfield but I'm originally a Southerner and have served my time in London, in Ilford, Barking, Camberwell and Willesden.

How near is the near future do you think? Best of luck with it all. It can get you down at times but you can always find empathy on this site....there isn't much that can happen to you that hasn't happened to someone before:)

Hi,

I'm a chippy but a young(ish) one at that. City and Guilds changed their trade apprenticeships about 7 years ago... so what was a formal aprenticeship (according to C & G and TRA) is now up for debate! I have an NVQ level 2 and am wating to hear on whether it ammounts for anything!! TRA is a funny thing. But, I'm hoping that TRA will acknowledge NVQ, in which case... all is good !
