We have been here 5 months and we have had foxtel installed. The installation was free and as it was christmas we had to wait 2 weeks but thats the only down side. We are in rented ccomadation and that wasnt an issue. We have subscribed for 12 months. The cost for us is $115 per month but thats for the top package and we have the i.q. box which is basically sky plus. You can record live tv etc. We had the top package as my hubby loves footy and we wanted to be able to record it and watch at a decent hour. The package also includes 2 box office films a month. The basic package is about $36 but isnt really very good. We found the pricing very similar to sky in the uk. They have some deals on at the moment with 3 months half price. You should have a look at their website. If you get foxtel I would advise you to get it alongside your home phone with telstra as you get rewards off them. We currently get 125 texts from our mobile for free just by having the foxtel, home phone and mobile on 1 bill.
