Default Which forms for PR?

My hubby and I are in Oz on a 4 year visa and want to apply for PR. Can anyone tell me which forms I need to download from the DIAMA site please.

I think you need to work out which visa you're eligible for first, as the answer will depend on this.

You should probably ask on the immigration forum.

We are both nurses so it would be a skilled visa, we are just not sure which forms to complete as its confusing.

Hi Meelie

I'm assuming the forms are the same whether your here or there.
I'm in the process of gathering them together, got most of the list from the Booklet 6. There appear to be forms for information and completion.
Form 1071i - Health Requirement
Form 26 - Medical examination for Oz
Form 160 - Radiological report on chest xray
Form 47P - Character requirements penal clearance
Form 80 - Personal particulars for character assessment
Form 1101 - Police records check

but double check as I'm at earlier stage of waiting for skills assessment.

If you haven't downloaded the Skilled Migration Booklet yet I strongly suggest you do so. It's booklet 6 at the following link:
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/books_migrate.htm

The Skilled Migration Booklet is a "must read" for any general skilled applicant. Also, a skill assessment is compulsory (ANMC is required for nurses - state registration won't do).

If you are applying for employer nominated residence, booklet 5 contains what you need to know.

If still confused after reading the booklets, you need some good professional assistance otherwise you may end up wasting a lot of time and possibly having your visa application refused.
