Formalities after granting of Visa
 

Hi,
I wish to know what all formalities we have to do after getting GSM PR.

Like Application for Tax file number etc. From where and how can we apply it?

Also is there any other formalities we need to do?

TFN, medicare registration, drivers licences. All of these things are done on arrival.

The only thing you really need is the sticker in your passport an airline ticket to Australia and somewhere to lay your head when you get there!

A job is nice to come to but not necessary.

There is only one thing you must do after visa grant and that is validate the visa by entering Australia by the given date. Getting the visa label is optional but it is a good idea to have it.
