Form 54 - signature of witness?

Hi all.

I'm filling form 54 and would like to know who can sign in "Signature of Witness" in Australia.

Thanks.
Peace!

Looks like a form that is country specific and I doubt many on here will have experience of it.
However, on all the forms I have seen like that, Signature of Witness, is just someone witnessing your signature. It doesn't seem to specify on the form that it must be witnessed by a qualified person or JP etc, it just requires someone to witness your signature. There is no soace for a JP etc toput their official stamp. Thus anyone can sign it. All they are doing is watching you sign the form, and stating that they have witnessed your signature.

Unless there is something in your language (which I cannot read) that says otherwise, you should be tine with anyne who agrees to witness you signing it.
