Form 47SK

I have a few questions regarding the different information requested on the 47SK form:

1. Q.22 If you are applying from outside Australia: what is the value of money, goods and assetswhich you intend to bring to Australia?

What is the best way to approach this? Is there a minimum amount necessary to apply?

2. Letter from ACS - Must I send the original letter I got from the ACS or should I get a certified copy and keep the original myself?

3. Proof of recent work experience - will the reference from my current employer detailing my daily duties be sufficient for this?

4. I am an Irish citizen. Do I need to get a proof of English Language ability?

5.If your application is successful, how would you like to get your visa? Mail passport to Adelaide, Australia or attend nearest Australian Mission?

What is the advantage/disadvantage of either of these choices?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Form 47SK

1. They reckon on $900AUD per week for three people.....doesnt have a fixed amount attached to it (unlike other countries). You just need enough to live for up to 2 years on.

2. I heard that you have to send the original ACS letter (thats what I did..otherwise they request it anyway..apparently), took a certified copy of it anyway.

3. Used my reference, CV and ACS letter as reference (did a cross reference thingy for my application so bits of evidence were used for multiple things).

4. Erm...Pass....I am from the UK (England) and just sent my School certificates as proof, as well as cross reference college certificates.

5. I just stuck down Adelaide.

If I am talking pants then I am sure someone else will pipe up....

Hope this helps.
