we have just been reading form 47sk and it informs us that u have to fill in 47A for dependants over 18 even if they are not emigrating with you.The only trouble is my partners son (22)does not speak to her(for about 5yrs) and he is a bit of a jack the lad does'nt work but does'nt claim benefits( if u know what i mean
) .Has anybody else been in the same situation. Any replies would be a great help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My guess is that he wouldn't be considered a dependent because of his age (unless he's still in school or something). Does your partner support him financially? If not, I wouldn't bother filling it in (unless you want him to migrate with you!).
