The forgotten State
 

While I was sat in the pub all weekend in England, my girlfriend was exploring the NT.

She lives in Darwin and sent me a few pics after a trip to an aboriginal community. I'm jealous.....

I'll bore you with a few more if thats ok.

only had freshie crocs to worry about - no salties.

Just 1 more - I've got quite a few more, but I wont bore you.

Just dont see many pics on here from the NT, and its a shame cos its beautiful, especially as the dry season starts apparently.

Ok 1 more - just to show how wet it was.

They got turned back from the 1st attempt to cross the river cos it was too flooded, and they'd just pulled a big saltie out. Ended up with 5 of them crashin in a little room of a pub in the middle of nowhere!! Tops!!

She's in Darwin at the moment. This trip was a good 2 or 3 hours out of Darwin.

just a little snake...........probably got enough venom to drop a herd of buffalo though. :D

yeah cant wait. Just waiting on prospective spouse visa to come back (should be anytime). Got a neighbour ready to buy my house cash, then I'm off!!!
