Hi,

Looking for some info from anyone living in Forestville, I'm just getting ready to send a tenant application off but someone at work mentioned it is getting a bit of a reputation for vandalism etc. Now every area can have this but he said it was a bit worse in that area at the moment, mentioned a lot in the Manly Daily.

Also found a house in Pymble I like, bit more expensive, and not as nice but it has everyting we need and I'd be happy to move in. If you are living in the areas and were choosing now where would you pick?

Stayed in West Pymble for a year, and can thoroughly recommend it, especially if you have kids. Train close to get into CBD, near parks, shops, pools. 30 minute drive to the Northern Beaches. Ideal.

Wouldn’t recommend it for the singles or DINKYs out there though. Too slow and not any nightlife.

Mind you, we once found a beer can in our lawn in West Pymble.

I was in Forestville over the xmas and new year period, we really liked it and would be more than happy to re locate there. It is about 15 mins from the biggest shopping centre at warringa mall ( not sure of spelling) and about 20 mins from the beaches of Dee Why and collaroy....hope this helps
