Hi all..

footy mad 33 yr old here who plays once a week in Dublin..will be arriving on the 24th September and will be in the Manly area of Sydney.

just wondering if there are any local footy teams that are in need of an over the hill but eager beaver player to join the ranks..

Good Post... really interested to keep my other half (29) entertained as he loves playing footy over here, and would be great to keep it up and meet new friends etc. We are looking at the Eastern Suburbs but anywhere in Sydney footy team would be fab. S2S x

There are some groups based in North Sydney, but it would be fun to arrange something for Expats somewhere around the place.

Just to clarify..we're talking about round-ball, free kicks, penalty shoot out football right? Not some other sport that has been deemed footy?

There are loads of football teams playing locally in the Northern Beaches area....plenty of ex UK old buggers too!!

a few of us who meet up for drinks in sydney on thursdays have mulled over getting a weekly 5 a side game organised but never got round to it if anyone fancies that
