Default Flying with Thai 18th March to Sydney!

Hi all,
We wondered if anyone will be on the flight as us flying to Sydney 18th March at 11.50am from Heathrow. If so get in touch.
What are Thai airlines like?

Hi Sue,
Have flown with Thai quite a few times and they are excellent.
Unfortunately we won't be on your flight - we are leaving from London on 4th April, heading for Sydney, then ultimately Melbourne, flying with Singapore Airlines, who are also excellent.
Have a safe journey and all the best for your new life.
Jeannie and family

just got back on Saturday using this airlines - ensure you take a book as the entertainment system is behind other airlines, otherwise the long flight will feel a lot longer.

On the whole service good to very good. Food a bit variable

Hi Tina,
All we are told is that ''sometime in March'' they are going to send a copy of it to us but not until it goes out on TV.
The new series should be on Channel 4 at 5-5.30pm and it is all over Australia/New Zealand and the Caribbean so we will not know in what order.

Hi,
Don't they have tv screen's for each seat?
We will have two boys 11 & 9 with us. What sort of entertainment have they got?
This is going to be a very long flight!!!!!!!!

no, it is a big screen with several films shown during the flight - ie you have no choice what you want to watch or when.

we managed to get exit seat for extra leg room which meant being the furthest from the screen and having tall people heads obscure vision. So lack of sleep before the flight, a good book, & a few drinks helped - although that is probably not the best advice for 9 & 11 year olds!

Unfortunately in my experience they won't let you have the seats near the exit when you've got kids with you.....Something about needing adults sitting there in case of emergency.

Sue,

Buy some Melatonin tablets to help ajust your body clock and therefore Jetlag. You maybe able to buy them duty free on the flight, we were able to get them on Singapore Airlines. They really do help.

Good luck with your move and have a safe trip.

Kind regards,

Cinderella.
