Flying snakes?
yesterday, whilst working in the back garden, I heard a commotion from the palm trees at the end of the yard, with a couple of crows chasing a 1 metre long snake in the top of a tree. One crow grabbed the snake and tried to fly off with it
In the ruckus it dropped the snake which dived into some bushes, and I think into the garden behind us, since the crows moved to the other side of the fence. Having already had a crow drop a piece of stale bread on my head from a great height, I got to wondering: has anyone ever had a snake dropped onto them from above? |
Re: Flying snakes?
Hmmm, from Drop-Bears to Drop-snakes...... :D
Actually, size of the crows round here I reckon they could carry off a small Koala so thats probably the origin of the drop-bear! :D :p |
