Flying schools in Brisbane
Hi
My husband has asked me to post a thread about flying schools. he has recently taken up this new hobby and is hoping to get his private pilots license.
Does anybody know of any local flying schools? Any info greatly accepted.
We do not know which area of Bris we be living in yet.

My partner, Neil has done a lot of research into flying schools around Brisbane as he already has a PPL for helicopters. He will be converting his licences to Oz equivilent and will be doing a CPL (H).
We will hopefully be moving over there in November 2005!

I am a student pilot, if you are looking for any specific information please PM me, and i will do my best to help.
Plenty of flying shools in BNE, and at Archerfield Airport there is quite a few, Flight Training Australia, Sunland Aviation, Royal Queensland Aeroclub etc...

All these operate from Aircherfield Airport, but it all depends where you will settle.
If he already did some hours training in the Uk, make sure that before he leaves that his log book is stamped and signed by the CFI.

Bob Tait's Aviation Theory School at Archerfield is owned and run by a very good friend of mine. He's renowned throughout Australia for his commercial aviation theory courses in particular. I'd highly recommend him.
