wow didn't think we'd see anything like that thought they'd peaked at concord (imagine the carcon footprint on that sorry had a pc moment)
how much of a lottery win would you need to fly on it though

Wasn't this a project called Hotol back in the 80's?
From what I remember it was supposed to go up into orbit or near orbit, where it could travel against Earths spin and tyhen come back down again...making the trip to Australia in about 4hrs, most of which was taken up in getting and and then down again.
