Sorry don't know what happened there.

Yes you should use an agent.

Concept Australia cost us £950 and Gave us invalubale advice and support throughout the process.

When you are making a life changing decision by emmigrating, £1000 pounds to ensure your application is handled correctly seems to me to be a small price to pay.

Either concept australia or go matilda who regulary post on this website could give you an assesment to asscertain whether you will be eligible or not.

Cheers.

Hi
The fact that some professionals are struggling, especially IT is that those areas of work are not is so much demand now - if welding is a trade Oz are looking for and age is on your side, you should be laughing!
Maybe check out the Dimia website to see if your trade is on there first and then go from there - if you're not sure, contact an agent and ask them. We did that and were told that we would have enough points to apply. If you are self employed, you would need lots of references from clients, accountant, suppliers etc to prove somehow that you have done your trade for 10 years and also if you did an apprenticeship, a reference from the person/company you did this with, certificates etc. Anyway, it's a long process, but worth it so good luck.
Cheers

Nah. If your case is fairly straight forward, don't bother with the agent...it's not that hard to do it yourself.
