Florida here we come!!
Seriously need some hot sun, so we are off to Florida for 2 weeks Sat morning. Can't wait to feel that tropical heat on my back again. Not quite as good as in Oz, but a close second for me.
Should give us a taster of the heat we might get on the Sunshine Coast next year. Actually I compared the climate stats and Florida is about 2-3 degrees C warmer on average comparing their Summer and Sunshine Coasts Summer. It can't be as hot as people make out, we have been to Florida many a time and Hubby lived there for a year, yes it gets hot but bearable.
I am not sure how the humidity compares, but I would imagine it was pretty similar.
Anyway I will sign off now for a couple of weeks - have fun and I hope the weather stays good over here for a while.

I didn't actually find Oz that hot even Brisbane in summer. Not as hot as Greece where you just cannot feel the air it's that dry. I liked the weather over in Oz and find it quite bearable but that's me the hotter the better.
