Flokati Rug
Does anyone know anything about Flokati rugs when shipping their household goods? We've had a couple of quotes from shipping companies and they say it has to be "treated" before shipping (I have this humorous vision of heading off to the nearest farm and throwing it in the sheep dip ).
I would assume it would already have to have been treated if it had already been exported to the UK.

Re.Flokati rugs....I have a large ( 9x12) white Flokati rug in my living room.
If it's the same type as yours, then I don't understand why it needs to be 'treated'
My rug is pure wool..from Greece I believe.
I wash it every couple of years by placing it on the garage pad, scrub with a soft brush by hand, using cold water and mild soap Rinse well with the garden hose, let it dry in the sun, and that's all the treatment it requires.
