Default Flights to Sydney from UK - how much is "normal" price?

Ignoring the summer and christmas price hikes, just wondering what is considered a bargain / normal / expensive in economy return fares?

From www.ba.com for tomorrow:
2 Adults - fare £457 + £142.20 tax, total £1,198.40
2 Children - £343 + £126.60 tax, total £939.20
Guessing that is this current BA deal: Sydney (Kingsford-Smith) From £599 (11May06-30Jun06)

Cheers

Not bad as the closer to the date you want the prices are usually sky high.
I use www.travelsupermarket.co.uk or www.leestravel.com and look at the special offers or www.travelmood.com or co.uk are good with offers click on flights and you will find all major carriers like Malaysian and Emirates and their offers.
Yes you are right to not travel in school hols and xmas hols I have to with my job and it's a killer
Good luck
