anyone tell me the best places to look online for cheap and comparing flights from australia to uk,also are they more expensive this time of year being near summer in uk.

We booked with travelmood a couple of weeks for July when it's school holidays lhr to syd, have a look at their prices. Trailfinders for us at the time were more expensive as were austravel.

I've seen asda travel mentioned on here and expedia too?

depends where in oz you flying from - but i just got a return to heathrow from brisbane $2060 including taxes...very good price, hope its not too good to be true! thro your local flightcentre, good luck

Prices generally are higher in the northern summer.....for most airlines this season ends on 20Sep so prices drop from then and generally stay low until about 10th Dec when the Xmas madness begins and prices go through the roof.

Don't think there's generally much difference in prices between the travel web sites....often booking direct with the airlines themselves is cheaper though.

Was looking at a flight to UK in September on webjet but found it was $100 cheaper to book direct at qantas!
