Credit to HotUKdeals:

This is an error fare! Don't call the airline or Online Travel Agency!!!

Looks like Royal Brunei has a huge glitch!

Cheap flights are available in April and May 2015 From London Heathrow - Melbourne. As this is an error fare you have to act fast, it could be fixed at any time!

The earliest departure possible is on 7th April 2015. You could choose one of many short stays or pick a longer stay, take a look!

To find cheap flights available from your departure city to London please use Skyscanner.

Wow, they are excellent prices

But what a shame that the same flights but originating in Melbourne are nearly twice the price.

It's looking like a very probable scam site on a quick check via google.

I agree with your suspicions about the first site but Skyscanner shows return Royal Brunei flights in September/October with fares around the £450 mark

What a pity we can't get those prices from here. Maybe one day it'll happen where they'll be harmonised.

Couldn't agree more, paulry. I'm sure every company that does business in Australia thinks we're all bloody millionaires

That's because of the school holidays. The shoulder seasons September to November and February to just before Easter are usually best.

Shouldn't cost anywhere near that! Have a good hunt around various online flight search engines. Quick example -
kayak.com
2 July
Birmingham - Amsterdam (KLM)
Amsterdam - Kuala Lumpur (MAS)
Kuala Lumpur - Brisbane (MAS)
Journey time including very reasonable layover times of around three and a half hours each, 28 hours 50 minutes.
AU$1,069
at today's official exchange rate, 594 pounds.
