Flights to Brisbane

Hi,

Just had quotes on prices to Brisbane for Sept flying from Manchester, has anyone done 2 stop to change in both Dubai & Singapore which also included a 1 hour stop in Zurich. ( does sound a bit like our friends with the orange planes do you think ) :scared: or has anyone done flights with one stop then fly to Sydney and get internal flight to Brisbane. Its just that all the flights we have looked at for Sept are showing 2 stops and we if poss would like just one stop. So if anyone has done all this as above your info would be greatly appreciated, basically what the f!!k was it like LOL.

thanks
Ged :)

We flew via Singapore into Sydney and then caught an internal flight to Brisie. It was fine , saying that we flew out of Heathrow and stayed in Sydney for 4 nights which broke up the journey a bit as we were traveling with 2 kids.
Have you considered maybe traveling to London and getting a one stop flight to Brisbane from there , just an idea.

If you are flying Singapore Airlines from Manchester to Singapore, the flight is non-stop on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But if you fly out of Manchester on Tuesday or Thursday, there's a stopover in Zurich. From Singapore to Brisbane, it's non-stop. So you can fly from Manchester to Singapore with just one stop if you choose the right day of the week.

If you are flying Emirates, you'll always have two stop-overs, in Dubai and Singapore.

You can get some great fares with Lees Travel, a well-established London based consolidator; they specialise in discounted fares with mainly Asian airlines eg. Singapore Airlines, Malaysian, Emirates, Qantas, Royal Brunei, Thai etc.

I lived in Singapore for a few years and many expats having family and friends coming out from the UK to visit would direct them to Lees Travel for the best fares. It might be worth a try and sending them an e-mail.

My husband does the flight from Manchester to Brisbane a few times a year and does not like the Emirates flight.......he much prefers Singapore Airlines. He says that it is much better only doing one stop (so he avoids the days it stops in Zurich) and finds that the flight in general is better.

try www.airlinenetwork.co.uk or www.austravel.co.uk there is a austravel shop in manchester city centre or near you if you chec there may be.

i got flights to brisbane beggining of thier summer (nov) for £700 each off airlinenetwork.

austravel specialise in australia and have some great offers from all the airlines.
