Flights booked.
Well we have finally booked our flights. (via travelmood.)
2 adults 1 child (2 yrs old) £1275 .. very good deal..Singapore Airlines too.
We are staying on the Island of Sentosa (just off Singapore)for 3 nights at the shangri-la, so that should be a nice time to chill out before heading to Brisbane on the 31st Oct.
House completes tomorrow.. just got to sell the cars before we go.
wish us luck.
and good luck to all.

Hi
Seems to be a lot of people flying over around end October including us
I'm sure you will love your stop over on the Island of Sentosa, that was something we thought about doing - but we're going via a different route now - via Hong Kong to be exact, with now stop overs!
Good luck and take care - oh yes, must be great to have sold your house before going - fantastic for you!

Hi
We are hopefully flying out around the end of October Beg of Nov Just waiting for the call from the estate agents to confirm exchange of contracts.
We were thinking of stopping off at Langkawi. You can get a direct flight there with Malyasian Airlines. the problem was that the forward flight to Brisbane leaves from Kula lumpa. That would be fine but the onward flight leaves early the next morning. Which would leave us stuck in the airport all night we two under fives. Hence we will not be booking that as any benefit gained from a stopover would be lost.
So to get to the point what are the connections like for Sentosa Island.
Rgds

Yep we looked at all these lovely places too, but decided it would be too much hassle with transfers and some places boats! so we opted for Sentosa, its actually linked by a Bridge and im told its not too far away. Someone said something about acable car linking it too.
Sentosa has a beach, take a look on the google and search for sentosa shangri-la.

Re: Flights booked.
[We are flying out with Singapore Airlines on 29 October, with 3 night stopover at the Allson Hotel in Singapore, then arrive in Melbourne on 2 November. Watch out for the kids who constantly fight with each other, 13, 11 and 5 year olds, with me and hubby looking very stressed.
Even though we have booked the tickets and PSS removers for the 26 Oct, we have not actually exchanged contracts on house yet!!! Getting very panicky now but trying not to think about it. We will still go on 29th if it all falls through but with a lot less money and more pressure to find jobs quickly etc. Fingers crossed it does not come to that.
Still have not started packing, don't quite know where to begin.
Anyway good luck to everyone making the move in the next few weeks.
