flights

I have been searching a few flights to go to brisbane in october, and have come up with £1800 for 2 adults 1 child and 1 infant does this sound like the normal average price? We would like to stay over in singapore for a couple of nights but not sure where to start so would appreciate any help, will have to use thomas cook to book as we have loads of vouchers to use from our wedding. Thanks for any help:thumbsup:

BA and Quantas both have specials on at the moment - if you leave before the end of Nov. We're paying £602 each (inclusive) from London to Melbourne, with a stop over of a few days in Singapore. The return ticket is valid for a year and its felxible i.e. the date can be changed at a cost of £50. It would have been about £641 to Sydney.

I've just booked flights the other way round (Brisbane - London - Brisbane for February and at present the Qantas website is cheaper than either Zuji or Expedia - first time I've got cheaper prices direct from Qantas. Worth checking out :)

Just booked our flights (one way - yipee!) to Townsville via Sydney and they were £666 each (hope that figure's not a bad omen:p)
That was through Asda Travel

The best thing is to look on the Quantas or BA websites for their specials.

Re: flights

We have booked our one way flights from Heathrow into Sydney with SINGAPORE AIRLINES (on their website) for 22nd November - they cost us £964 for the pair - but they're quoting £731 return on 1st November but that also is into Sydney.

Sydney is sometime a lot cheaper than Brisbane - you could consider a cheaper flight into Sydney and using Virgin Blue or Jestar online bookings to get you to and from Brisbane - if you book far enough in advance you can get return flights for $79 but watch out for baggage restrictions on weight although the cost per kilo is CHEAP!

We booked one way flights on Saturday, Heathrow to Brisbane via Singapore. Booked with Singapore Airlines via their website and have paid GBP 2100.00 (sorry pound sign broken) for 2 adults, 2 children leaving 21st September.
