Stopover gets my vote!! We flew London to Brisbane last year with an overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur, at the airport hotel.....brilliant.

When we emigrate, hopefully in June, we would like to fly from Birmingham to Brisbane. Emirates are the only airline, that im aware of, that flies from Birmingham to Australia. You can have a stopover with them, but you wont be allowed the extra baggage allowance as its one or the other im afraid :sneaky: personally id like both!!! :) C x

Hi I'd vote for the stop over too, less jet lag then!! Know also as OP said only one or other not stopover and extra baggage so we were told recently by Emirates! Help!!!! Good luck.

I'm sure all flights stop to refuel somewhere.. They did try to do perth to london a few years back, but with only a hour of fuel left at the end it was decided it was too risky.
