flight to sydney
we left las vegas at 7am, flew to los angeles - only 40 mins, then checked in for sydney flight. asked very nicely for extra legroom and got it! (we also had emergency exit seat from london - los angeles flight last sunday)
this flight was 13 hours, not packed, we had an extra seat to put stuff on. its wierd changing time zones again, but felt ok, slept and woke, slept and ate, drinks whatever and whenever. very smooth flight and the time passed quickly. watched three films, and various other programmes. just before we landed, the chief steward brought us a bottle of champagne to take with us to welcome us to australia!! what a great gesture!
alan had his visa stamped and because i am still travelling with my gb passport and just have a certificate of citizenship i had to go with an immigration official to be verified. only took a few mins, she said to get oz passport asap. will do, next instalment shortly.

now at our brother's lovely house in sydney, we have just been down by the opera house for a few drinks and a walk.
