Flies
 
We are hoping to go to Adelaide or Perth, could any residents give me the 'low down' on the fly situation?

ie types, bites. prevention, etc

yes flies are prevalent but you learn to live with them ,the worse one is the blow fly so make sure you always cover your food,when outside.............:D :beer: MM

My Brother moved out there with my Father when he was 13, and has been out there for 35 years. Very Ozzie attitude.
His tip for me when we got there and the flys were buzzing round, and I wwas waving my hands and legs everywhere. DON'T, THE MORE YOU WAVE YOUR HANDS THE MORE THEY WILL BUZZ. Took a few days to get used to it, but unless they are around the mouth or nose, leave them and they will go away.
It worked. Was also told that they were worse at certain times of the year.
