Fitness Instructor
Hi All
Looks like I might get over to Perth after all (still a lot to work through)
Anyway I have some fitness qualifications, gym, spin and boxercise instructor.
Can anyone tell me how much I could get for teaching a spin or boxercise class over there.
I thought could use these as a sideline.
Thanks
Richie.

My husband worked in a gym when we first came over.....you need a Cert III In Fitness to work in a gymnasium. You need a Cert IV to be a personal trainer. If you do a search on seek.com.au there are usually a few fitness jobs advertised on there. Also, do a google search for "fitness australia", that'll help you see what you can marry your qualifications up to. My hubby got his recognised only up to a Cert III, even tho he had more quals than you can shake a stick at. Altho he did do a Cert IV in Training and Assessment which let him teach Sport in Correctional Centres - quite good money.
Good luck!
