Default Fishing gear and quarantine/customs?

Hi everyone
Hubby is an avid fisherman (fly and bass) and we are currently cleaning his rods, reels etc to pack into our shipment to Oz.
Does anyone know what the quarantine restrictions on fishing tackle are?
I am assuming the flies for fly fishing are not allowed due to them being made of hair/feathers etc?
What about rubber worms/lures for bass fishing?
Thanks!
Lynette

Crown told us no to hand made flies - if we wanted to risk it put it in hand luggage. Rubber ok, but watch the nets - they need to be pristine and we ended up leaving his

if customs find something that they arnt happy with, they give you the choice of paying to clean or they distroy for free
( happen with a wicker basket in our shipment 200 bucks to clean or buck shee to burn so its ashes )
