Fishing In and around Brisbane
Allright folks not been on for a while
Got the all clear for my meds and police report so just waiting on my visa arriving, should be out no later in August.
Quick question for all the keen fisherman or women on here. How the fishing in Brissy?
I know the river is supposed to be good but what else can you do?
Is the surf fishing along the coast any good? And what do you catch in the river?
REally looking forward to trying to catch snapper, threadfin salmon etc.
Hope to hear some good tales
Cheers
Jamie

Have a look here:

and here: www.ausfish.com.au
Lots of threadfin salmon and bull sharks in the Brisbane river plus the usual species.
Probably better with a boat though.
