Fishing
Hi All,
back here in the UK i do alot of sea fishing, up till recently I had my own small boat.
What is the fishing like in and around the Geelong area .
Any one know much about owning your own boat ?
Any good websites for second hand boats.
Cheers
Damian

Re: Fishing
Cant help with the boating in the Geelong area, as we are in Brisbane, sorry! I imagine its very different down there to what we do up here.
Check out www.boatpoint.com.au for boats for sale. Remember, realistically anything over about 22 or 23 feet will have to be moored or stored on hardstand (up to about 28 feet), so choose your length accordingly.
Have fun .

Other spots also at Queenscliff, Torquay and ocean grove.
A place in Geelong called the Geelong boating centre sells second hand and new boats and also another boat place in Moolap somewhere, owned by a guy called Steve Kitteley sells second hand boats but i think you will find that the best bargains to be had are from people selling boats privatly.
