Default first visit to dentist

Went for my first visit to the dentist here in Oz, for those of you interested in the cost of dentistry, here's my experience

general check up $35
scale and polish $68

inquired about costs of fillings and x-rays done at the surgery,
fillings $95 to $150, depending how big the cavitiy is.
x-rays $28 dollars each

On paying I had a choice of going every six months or annually.

was sent to the hospital for an x-ray, no cost, just asked for my medicare card.

so thats another thing done on our 'to do' list, not going too bad after 9 months!!!
