First tournament
Hi just to let you know that our lad cally has his first football tournament today.Been up since 5.15am making butties because i'm too excited to sleep lol.

where's the tournament at, where are you, we're in Rochdale
what age group is your lad playing at, mine's at under 7's, yours looks about the same age.
my lad plays for Bridgecolts FC, they've got a tournament on 22 may just outside heywood and its open to any teams who wish to apply

it was a very long day but well worth it.
Ended up winning and yes, very proud, very proud indeed.
Under 9's ( year 4 at school )
played 9 group games, 1 draw ( 0-0 ) and 8 wins, semi and final.
Total, 11 games and 11 clean sheets, only one goal scored against them and that was in the semi final as it went to a penalty shootout, a word of warning to any parents whose children wish to play in goal, if a game goes to penalties have a tissue handy because your eyes well up and it's the hardest thing in the world watching your child standing in goal with everyone watching...................:scared:
