our first taste ov xmas 05 tonite...... Cleveland State Primary School had their xmas carol concert

I also had my first exprerience of the kids show at school, there were tonnes of parents there, praying it wouldnt rain...our kids were off with their friends the whole time and they seem so happy, all the years put on a good show...watching the preschoolers sing is always bound to make you emotional...did you notice how the christmas songs sound so differnt with the little ones strong accents.

Great evening, much better than sitting in a crowded hall and everthing being quite serious...glad you had a good time.

Must admit it was a great time at the hall on Thursday. Just wish everyone would have been quiet though so we could have heard the little ones and the choir cos the noise spoilt it.

Aimee's first christmas carol sang in Aus and yep I was tearful. Pity Rich couldn't come cos he was working as usual. Georgia enjoyed it too cos she was dancin on my knee.

Yep, have just done the 'lump in throat and tears dribbling down the cheeks' thing meself - our little girl (she's 5) introducing the nativity play dressed as an angel..OMG, i'm off again!!!

Our little boys 'thing' was singing Rolf Harris's '6 white boomers' with his class - great stuff!

I think we have all had a little weepie ...... the nativity is always associated with the litlies...... the girls teased ash sumthin rotten having to wear a teatowel and a frock (shepherd).


funny you should mention good ole rolf!...... 2 yrs back steve baninnster sent me the download to that track been called boomie every time i posted sumthing the song kept going off in his head...lol
