First hand experience of Benowa
Hi, does anyone have first hand experience of Benowa on the Gold Coast.
My wife has a job offer and we aim to be there the middle of March and will obviously need to live in that area or close by. We are interested in comments on Benowa State School, Pindara Private Hospital and housing etc.
We spent a month on the Gold coast in Dec 2004 and are going back with 136 skilled independent - visas.

It's not mate, but 10 minutes in most directions there's stacks of decent and not so decent spots.
It really is worth getting a holiday rental (from memory, Broad beach is good for these) on the Coast when you arrive and do the rounds in a car.
Search on here for posts about the GC and also specific suburbs.

Any chance of being a bit more specific about Benowa as my wife will definately be working there. I realise that your opinion of a place may not be the same as someone else but more detail would be welcome.

I like living right on the coast, even it if means sacrificing a bigger house in the suburbs.
