First Aid at Work Query, UK - Oz
 

Hi guys!!

Just a small query but its got me thinking!! :eek:

What it is Ive recently re-validated my 'First Aid at Work' certificate a month ago (its now valid for 3 years) and next week Im revalidating my 'de-fib' certificate. (Im currently in UK hoping to go to Oz.....just in case ya didnt know!! ;) )

Well I was just wondering in Oz are these qualifications recognised or is it a completely different kettle of fish over there?? :confused:

Im still gonna do the training here in UK anyway but Im anticapating having to go through the whole lot again in Oz. Im thinking protocols/legalities will be different in Oz, I dont know??????? Ive done a search on forum and cant find anything.....

If anyone could shed any light on the subject it would be much appreciated!!

Hi Cheeky,

Asked Ian as he's into that kinda stuff and he reckons that the first aid at work will be ok, but thinks the de-fib will possibly need refreshing. He does the First Aid At work course here.........but I could stand to be corrected! :D

Good news about the first aid then, cheers! The de-fib training I have to do every few months here in UK anyway, so it must be something simalar to Oz then.
