Default Financial help for first time buyers?

Hi there

Wondering if there are any schemes in Australia to help first time buyers?

Interested to find out more if anyone can help?

Thanks in advance!

I think they used to throw $7k - $21k at you to encourage you to buy. Not sure if this is still happening.

I would also like to know.

It is still available for those who qualify. It is now $7k. Check out the following link to get full details.

Each state has its own grant in addition to the $7k. In NSW you don't pay stamp duty up to a certain level, and there are other incentives to buy off plan. If you know where you are going, check out the state you are planning to live.
