Finally...........We got it !!!

Default Finally...........We got it !!!
Wow, that was the longest wait ever. Delaying our entry 2 weeks took us 4 months to achieve, but we have done it, and now have the grant letter.

Been waiting 4 weeks since they had all the docs too.

Gonna go large on the

No more news on that front mate. Did you find out about where you can park ?

I am going through all the fine print on the contract now, as your last thread threw up a few things, like excess on non-fault accidents :scared:

I never read the fine print on these sorts of things, good job it got pointed out.

We were being quoted £120 per day to bring the excess down to $300 (note the currency)! Twas a very nice camper though!

We have decided on a 4x4 Cruiser (plenty of space) less than half the price and then book into accomodation on a nightly basis.

Our reasoning for the above is that you must park on approved land, ie. you cannot just pull up into a layby which is what we wanted to do.

We fly on 19 NOv, 10 nights in Malaysia, then onto Perth.
